Zine Symposium organizing is in high gear! We had a meeting the other night where we scheduled out all the meeting for the next wee. Looking at it makes me exhausted! I’m looking forward to a weekend at the Riverhouse after all this:
Hey PZS supporters!
A reminder that the Bike-In Movie is happening TONIGHT!
We are showing Triplets of Belleville and it’s at SE Division Pl. and Grand (under the 99E overpass and right near the end of the East Side Esplanade and the beginning of the Springwater Corridor). Bring cash for raffle tickets and pies from Whiffies! We’ll also have popcorn and refreshments… Here’s the full event info on our site: http://pdxzines.com/events/bikeinmovie/
We still need volunteers! Please get in touch if you are able to volunteer pdxzines@gmail.com
The Workshop Deadline is approaching! The Workshop deadline is Sunday the 31st! If you would like to lead a workshop, discussion, or panel please go to the PZS website and fill out an application. http://pdxzines.com/workshops/ We hope to have a schedule up on the site on Monday or Tuesday!
We need help with Portland Promotion! If you are in Portland and would like to help with posters or putting postcards around town, please get in touch through e-mail (pdxzines@gmail.com) or pick some up at the IPRC (independent Publishing Resource Center)
We also wanted to let you all know about zine-related events leading up to the Portland Zine Symposium…
